Barry Eugene Allen

Mr. Barry Eugene Allen, age 63 of Cedartown, Ga., passed away on Thursday, April 18^th, 2024, at his residence. 

Mr. Allen was born in Floyd County on February 18^th, 1961, to the late Horace Allen and Mozelle Shell Allen. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Marie Allen Lane. Prior to becoming disabled, Mr. Allen was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Doyle Road Baptist Church. He loved his animals and was quite a jokester. He knew how to make you smile and always kept those around him, “on their toes”. He celebrated his favorite holiday every year by decorating his yard for Halloween for others to enjoy. Mr. Allen was notorious for helping anyone he could. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Debbie Ann Allen; his mother, Mozelle Allen; three brothers, Wayne Allen (Margie), Larry Allen, and Jeff Allen (Christie); three sisters, Barbara Minter (Richard), Sandra Allen, and Wanda Allen; brothers-in-law, Tom Geer and Frank Geer (Amber); sisters-in-law, Amy Geer and Karen Geer; his beloved fur-babies, Cowboy, Goose, Gypsey, Billy Goat, Angelo, Mouse, and Snowman; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. 

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Allen was cremated, and a private memorial service is being planned.
