Carol Annette Herndon

Mrs. Carol Annette Herndon, age 57 of Rome, Ga., passed away on Sunday December 10th, 2023, at her residence.

Mrs. Herndon was born in Shreveport, La., on September 24th, 1966, to the late Robert Jordan and the late Barbara Parks Jordan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Herndon. 

Survivors include her two sons, Michael Herndon (Carol) of Calhoun and Matt Herndon (Heather) of Rome; one brother, Bobby Parks of Shreveport; three sisters, Julia Lofton (John) of Rome, Thea Lacobee (Joe), and Yvonne Lofton both of Louisiana; four grandchildren, Quinley, Nora, Leo, and Otto Herndon; several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Herndon has been cremated and a memorial service is being planned for a later date.
