Dean Martin Hartley Sr.

Mr. Dean Martin Hartley Sr., age 62 of Rome, passed away on Thursday October 19th, 2023, at a local hospital.

Mr. Hartley was born in Rome, Ga., on September 4th, 1961, to the late Mr. Robert Junior Hartley and the late Mrs. Louise Franks Hartley. Prior to becoming disabled, Mr. Hartley was employed by Marglen Industries. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his two sons, Dean Hartley Jr. (Melanie) of Arabi, Ga., and Jessie Hartley of Rome; one daughter, Katherine Hartley Griffin (Jamie) of Rome; two sisters, Elizabeth Self of Rome and Katherine Stubbs (Thurman) of Cordele; two brothers, John Hartley (Robbie) Cedartown, and Robin Hartley of Perry; six grandchildren, Bryston, Brooklyn, Maddox, Kylee, Clay, and Grant Hartley; special aunt, Juanita Bannister (Danny) of Tallapoosa; uncle, John Franks (Diane); several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 21st, 2023, at 2 PM from the chapel of Reynolds Funeral Home with Rev. Stevie Waddell officiating. Interment will follow in Flint Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers include Dean Hartley Jr., Clayton Hartley, John Hartley, Sonny Richey, Robin Hartley, and Clay Hartley.

The family will receive friends on Saturday October 21st from 12 PM until 2 PM at the funeral home. Following the service, the family may be contacted at their residence located at 9 King Ct. Rome, Ga 30161
