Mrs. Deborah "Deby" Barnes-Forbus, age 64 of Rome, GA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Deby was born in Dalton, Ga., on April 6th, 1960 to the late Lloyd V. Robinson and Eunice Hackney Robinson. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Sammy Robinson. Better known to everyone as "Mimi", she was the star of the show. Mimi was our rock and strong shoulder. She made a way when every thing looked impossible. Prior to becoming ill, Mimi was employed by Mohawk Industries as an Executive Assistant in the corporate office.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Eunice Robinson; husband, Sonny Forbus; daughters, Kristi Barnes-Reynolds (Mike Bibb), Jamie Harris (Eric), and Maggie Lyle (Josh); grandchildren, J. Tyler Reynolds, Blake Reynolds, Matthew Harris, and Lucy Harris; one brother, Kenny Robinson and his wife Shirley; a numerous amount of special friends and co-workers.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 2 PM at Trinity Baptist Church (1170 Rome Rd SW Calhoun, Ga.) with Reverend Matthew Reynolds, Reverend Kent Thomas, and Tyler Reynolds officiating.
