Geneva Elaine Ison

Mrs. Geneva Elaine Clemmons Ison, age 77 of Sugar Valley, Ga., passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 23^rd, 2024. 

Mrs. Ison was born in Atlanta, Ga., to the late Clarence Clemmons and the late Lucille Clemmons Richards. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Ison. Mrs. Ison was the true definition of a Christian. She loved the Lord with all her being. You would often find her reading the Bible and listening to her gospel music. Mrs. Ison was a member of Acworth Church of God of Prophecy. 

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Joann and Michael Gayton; one son, Clayton Ison; half-sister, Gladys Hawkins (Raymond); half-brother, Paul Richards; four grandchildren, Ashley Painter, Brittany McFry, Michael “Shane” Gayton, and Jennifer Franklin; nine great-grandchildren. 

In accordance with her request, Mrs. Ison has been cremated and no services are planned.
