El Joven Kevin Mejía, de 20 años de Cartersville, Ga., falleció el viernes 27 de octubre de 2023.

El Joven Mejía nació en Cartersville, Ga., el 27 de enero de 2003, hijo de Rolando Mejía y Ana González-Mejía. Kevin amaba a su familia, amigos y sus perros. Era un barbero muy apasionado y amaba a cada uno de sus clientes. Kevin era miembro de la Iglesia Católica San Francisco de Asís.

Le sobreviven sus padres, Rolando y Ana González-Mejía; un hermano, David Mejía; dos hermanas, Adriana e Ingri Mejía, todas de Cartersville; toda la familia Mejía González; varios primos.

Se llevará a cabo una Misa de Cristian Entierro el sábado 11 de noviembre de 2023 a la 1:30 p. m. en la Iglesia Católica San Francisco de Asís, 850 Douthit Ferry Rd. Cartersville Ga 30120 con el padre Kevin Hargaden oficiando. El entierro seguirá en Sunset Memory Gardens en Cartersville.

La familia recibirá amigos el sábado de 12:30 p.m. a 1:30 p.m. en la iglesia.

Mr. Kevin Mejia, age 20 of Cartersville, Ga., passed away on Friday October 27th, 2023.

Mr. Mejia was born in Cartersville, Ga., on January 27th, 2003, to Rolando Mejia and Ana Gonzalez-Mejia. Kevin loved his family, friends, and his dogs. He was a very passionate barber and loved each of his clients. Kevin was a member of St. Francis of Asissi Catholic Church.

Survivors include his parents, Rolando and Ana Gonzalez-Mejia; one brother, David Mejia; two sisters, Adriana and Ingri Mejia all of Cartersville; all of the Mejia-Gonzalez family; several cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday November 11th, 2023 at 1:30 PM at the St. Francis of Asissi Catholic Church with Father Kevin Hargaden officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens in Cartersville. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at the church.

The family respectfully requests that everyone please wear white in memory of Kevin.
