Lawrence Kirby Casey

Mr. Lawrence Kirby Casey, age 83 of Rome, Ga., passed away on Friday December 1st, 2023, in a local healthcare facility.

Mr. Casey was born in Walker County, Ga., on October 13th, 1940, to the late Arvil Casey and the late Mary Lou Woods Casey. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Jean White, and Catherine Culberson: one brother, Wayne Casey. Mr. Casey was a veteran, having served in the United States Army until being honorably discharged in 1964.

Survivors include his daughter, Misty Stringer of Rome; two grandchildren, Whitney Mills (Ricky), and Harley Stringer (Sierra); four great-grandchildren, Colton Mills, Noah, Harley Jr., and Paisley Stringer; one sister, Arlene Coker; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday December 6th, 2023, at 2 PM at Morning View Cemetery with Rev. Matt Green officiating.
