Michael Shane Knowles

Mr. Michael “Shane” Knowles, age 54 of Rockmart, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, March 20^th, 2024, at a local hospital. 

Mr. Knowles was born in Atlanta, Ga., on November 21^st, 1969, to the late Glen Knowles and Judy Crawford Knowles. Prior to becoming disabled, he was employed by Wayne Davis Concrete Company as a truck driver. He had a deep passion for NASCAR and enjoyed playing video games. He loved his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Tonya Lanette Knowles; three daughters, Ashley Knowles, Emily Isbell (Alex), and Alyssa Knowles; two brothers, Brian Knowles (Mimi) and Todd Knowles (Cindye); one sister, Regan Hammitt (Andy); three grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jadin, and Matthew; three nieces, Madison, Autumn, and Brittany; three nephews, Jaycob, Mason, and Ryan, and Garrett.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Knowles was cremated and a Celebration of Life is being planned and will be held at a later date.
