Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Reynolds

Mr. Ronald " Ronnie" Lee Reynolds, age 73 of Calhoun, Ga., passed away peacefully on Friday, July 19th, 2024, surrounded by his family at a local hospital.

Mr. Reynolds was born in Rome, Georgia, on June 19th, 1951, to the late Clyde Reynolds and Ola Mae Carter Reynolds. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by five brothers, Tommy Reynolds, L.C. Reynolds, Ernest Reynolds, Lonnie Reynolds, and Clifford Reynolds; five sisters, Frances Shaw, Mary Nell Stamps, Katheryne Lindsey, Mae Gladney, and Helen Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was the owner of  R&R Contractors and R&R Tree Services. He was a loving father and husband. He loved listening to music, playing bass guitar, and drag racing. Mr. Reynolds was a member of Lakeview Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ramona Reynolds; three sons, Shane (Tracy) Reynolds, Justin (Haley) McCoy, and Joey Reynolds; two daughters, Monica (Andy) Reynolds and Penny (Michael) Jordan; 11 grandchildren, Jeffery Jackson, Jessica Cash, Anthony Reynolds, Lance Reynolds, Ky-Lee McCoy, Braxton Burton, Chayce-Lynn Reynolds, Brayce-Lynn Reynolds, Allison Reynolds, Blayke-Leigh Reynolds, and Sadie Reynolds; one sister, Mattie Wright of Calhoun; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 22nd, 2024 at 2 PM at Lakeview Pentecostal Church with Rev. Matthew Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot at Scott Cemetery. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers include Mark Reynolds, Sonny Reynolds, Andy Burton, Khadyn Lau, Wayne House, and Jamie Barker. These gentlemen are asked to assemble at the church by 1:30 on Monday. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 21st, 2024 from 5 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home. 

Mr. Reynolds will lie-in-state on Monday from 1 PM until 2 PM at Lakeview Pentecostal Church.
