Stanley Turner Overfield

Mr. Stanley Turner Overfield, age 67 of Cartersville, Ga., passed away on Saturday, July 27th, 2024. 

Mr. Overfield was born on August 14th, 1956, in Madisonville, Kentucky to the late Stanley Eugene Overfield and the late Betty Lou Foreman Willingham. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Eugene Willingham; his nephew, John Charpentier. Mr. Overfield was a carpenter for over 20 years and after his retirement, he settled in Cartersville, Georgia. 

Survivors include his longtime companion, Peggy Hensley; three daughters, Laura Moss (Reuben), Kendra Clark (Matt), and Katie Collins (Steven); two sons, Nathan Varnes (Michelle) and Arthur Byrd; six grandsons, Bradley, Brysley, Mason, Nolan, Brooks, and Cooper; two granddaughters, Clara and Maelynn; two sisters, Cheryl Kelley (David) and Debbie Davis (Bill); several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Overfield was cremated, and a graveside interment will be held at a later date at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville, Kentucky.
